Bluecube provide outsourced IT services, including cyber security services and cyber incident response, to a wide variety of businesses and sectors, from pharma, central Government, political parties through to not-for-profits. Over 20,000 end users rely on our IT services and infrastructure daily. This means we're well-versed in migrating solutions, environments and networks to Bluecube; we are often required to rebuild IT solutions in their entirety or in part.

How we deliver our cyber response service

The route we choose will vary for each client and depends on their needs and exact circumstance.

 

Private cloud / Hosted desktop

Provides fast, cost-effective access to a secure IT environment to facilitate recovery.

We own and manage a highly resilient Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform that enables us to build a hosted desktop (RDP, RDS, VDI) environment that supports 1,000's of users. We use this as the foundation to build on, adding client-specific software, restoring clean data into this environment and adding the fundamentals such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and more. This platform is safe, secure and protected, providing a rapid and efficient approach to incident response.

 

Microsoft Azure

Delivers limitless scale for larger recovery activities.

In Azure, we build a fully operational environment using the same approach as above. The only difference is using the Azure platform instead of our own IaaS. The main advantage to Azure is that it is infinitely scalable, making it applicable to larger clients as it is expensive but able to facilitate thousands of users and above.

 

Loan hardware

For when the cloud is not an option (e.g. due to situation, regulation or choice).

At Bluecube we have mobile platforms that we use for cyber recovery activities. We deploy a vehicle that contains a fully operating environment to the client site. Then, we either run an environment from within the van, or relocate the hardware to the client's offices.

This secure hardware, which comes with its own 4/5G and satellite connectivity, provides a platform that we can use to restore the client's IT services. From here, we build a completely segregated, secure and separate network for the client.

 

Office 365 provision

Provides a secure, efficient alternative to on-premise solutions in order to keep communication going.

We create an Office 365 environment to restore email services to clients that rely on a local exchange or email solution. We find that the ability to send and receive emails and communicate internally with ease is the most urgent requirement. When delivered, we can use it to integrate with any of the above solutions.
